Nordicity models Industry Canada 700 MHz CCA Auction
Posted by Nordicity on Jul 10, 2013

OTTAWA – July 2013 - Nordicity and its partner, Carleton University’s Centre for Quantitative Analysis and Decision Support, has created a specialized bid simulation and tracking tool to assist a regional incumbent in understanding and simulating Industry Canada’s Combinatorial Clock Auction (CCA) model for the upcoming 700 MHz spectrum auction.  Nordicity’s proprietary software and analytical framework is based on Industry Canada’s rules and algorithms, and factors in the potential bid strategies of competing bidders and the complex interaction of bidders, the auction manager, and the auction framework.
