In an ecosystem characterized by besieged donors, overtaxed corporations and belt-tightening governments shared services can help organizations make more efficient use of limited resources and get back to focusing on their core mandates. 

This interactive workshop will present and discuss case studies of real world shared services initiatives. The session will discuss the advantages and benefits as well as the challenges and limitations of sharing services and explore best practices (and lessons learned!) for creating a shared service initiative.
