The government of Ontario has indicated that it plans to introduce legislation that would regulate wireless carriers in the province. We say "good on them" — however, we believe this effort should go even further, with national regulations that would support all consumers wherever they live in Canada (...) Indeed, a 2011 report by Nordicity, based on OECD data, concluded that Canadians with an average usage profile were paying 12 per cent less for cell phone service (voice and data) compared to the OECD average.
