RIM's BlackBerry loses ground to Apple, Android in the U.S. federal government

Research In Motion is losing more ground in their Washington stronghold (...) Kristian Roberts, senior manager at telecommunications consulting firm Nordicity says this kind of competition is the natural evolution of the smartphone market. "The marketplace is becoming more equal, and everyone can compete in enterprise and consumer markets," he said. That RIM had managed to keep a monopoly on the enterprise market for so long is something to be proud of, he added.
