Along with being an Associate to Nordicity, Alexis is a partner at ConnectSeven Group - a consulting, marketing and event firm with a focus on projects that help enact positive change by building communities that residents are proud to call home and tourists long to visit.

A tourism and events specialist, Alexis has been bringing forth strategic and innovative concepts to the industries for almost ten years. Her expertise lies in strategic development, project management, market analysis, destination marketing, sales representation, and destination development for organizations including, Destination Canada, the United Nations, Destinations International, the City of Vancouver, the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership, Adventure Travel Trade Association and the Richmond Hotel Destination Association.

Alexis was one of the key Project Managers for Destination International’s Phase 2 of DestinationNEXT, as well as the top Sales Manager at MCI – a global event management and consulting firm bringing regional and international conferences to Canada. Alexis is a recent recipient of ConnectCorporate’s Top 40 Under 40, a past board member of PCMA’s Canada West Chapter, an advisor for Meetings Mean Business, and has taught the tourism program for Hanson International College in Vancouver.

Alexis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Management Science from Simon Fraser University.
