Manitoba Music commissioned Nordicity to develop a sector profile and economic impact assessment of the music industry in Manitoba (SoundCheck 2016). Previous music industry economic impact assessments were published by Manitoba Music in 2005, 2008, and 2012.
Alongside lead contractor Patricia Huntsman, Nordicity supported the analysis, research, policy and cultural plan development for the City of Victoria.
Nordicity was asked by CIMA to conduct a study on the importance of exporting Canadian music – both to the independent music community in Canada and to the country as a whole.
