Shubhita Aggarwal

With a both-sides-of-the-brain approach, Shubhita focuses on the film and TV sector – reading emerging trends and translating audience insights into strategy.
A former theatre student, accountant, and marketer, Shubhita operates at the intersection of numbers and narrative – with a keen instinct for connecting evidence and turning ambiguity into actionable next steps. She holds an MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Arts, Media & Entertainment Management from the Schulich School of Business as well as a BCom in Financial Accounting from the University of Mumbai, completed while pursuing Chartered Accountancy studies (ICAI).
Pop culture is Shubhita’s first language – so she made a career out of it, keeping a relentless pulse on what audiences watch, where they gather, and why it matters. Before joining Nordicity, she worked in theatrical distribution at Mongrel Media in Toronto, building on-the-ground insight into release strategies. At global network agencies in Mumbai, she managed integrated campaigns for international brands, primarily Netflix India and MTV, developing sub-culture playbooks and steering fast-turn, multi-interest-holder projects. Her work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, and The One Show, among others.
Shubhita’s graduate research explored social finance mechanisms for arts and culture, and she also led a social impact consulting project in Costa Rica. These experiences ground her interest in the intersection of the AV sector, sustainability, and social impact – and in the practical ways ideas get funded and reach audiences.
Curiosity is her north star. She’s motivated by the human truth behind the data: how stories travel and take root, and what keeps creative ecosystems alive. At Nordicity, her love for the creative industries and her skill set meet in the work, allowing her to explore new territory and support the sectors that enrich her.
